Founded in 1994, Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region is a charitable organization working toward a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Our mission is to bring communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership in the Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox & Addington area. With the help of many volunteers, the organization has been able to place 25 families with safe, decent and affordable homeownership.
Ryandale provides a sober living space for homeless men. It does not discriminate against past drug use, mental illness or time spent in prison. Residents spend up to one year learning life skills, healing from trauma and/or addiction and overcoming the obstacles that led them to become homeless. With Ryandale’s help, people can reduce their risk of relapsing and improve their chances of staying housed.
Our mission is to make tiny homes a legal housing option. By making tiny homes a legal residence in a variety of municipalities, we will expand the affordable housing options available to all people.
Weller Arms Non-Profit Homes is a small 30 unit apartment building for low-income seniors. The majority of our tenants come from the city of Kingston's Social Housing Registry. We have a small community volunteer Board of Directors and 2 part time staff.
