We do this by: Concentrating our efforts in lung health in the following areas: asthma, smoking-related diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and air quality. Providing accurate, timely and quality information and education programs to a range of audiences, including people who suffer from lung disease and their families, youth, health care providers and the general public and government. Providing for and using ongoing research to support our work and our activities. Supporting medical research studies into lung disease. Raising funds from all legitimate sources. Abiding by all regulatory rules relating to charitable organizations. Ensuring the prudent management of all funds entrusted to us.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Kingston is mandated to provide practical assistance and support to individuals and families residing in, or visiting the Kingston area. All services are provided in a compassionate and respectful manner which reflects and reinforces the dignity and humanity of all persons.

The Trek for Teens Foundation is an entirely youth-led and volunteer-run charity that focuses on raising funds and awareness for youth experiencing homelessness in Canada. We strongly believe in youth helping youth, and therefore our team is primarily made up of post-secondary students and young professionals across multiple cities in Ontario and Quebec. We strive to ensure our team member's personal growth is aligned to their work at the charity, and that they are able to develop professionally through our organization.

W.A.F.F.L.E.S. (Wild About Family & Friends Learning Engineering & Science) Community Robotics is a not-for-profit, volunteer-operated organization located in Kingston, Ontario Canada. We have a family of community-based FIRST Robotics programs for youth aged 4 through 18. Our youngest students start off with LEGO DUPLO, with subsequent age groups moving on to LEGO robotics kits. Older students design, build and program custom metal robots with our high school students toping the scale with a 120lb robot. We are always in need of both technical and non-technical mentors to support our students and the time commitment can usually be adjusted to fit your availability. We are looking for volunteers to spend a hour fitting a client with clothes. For work, job interview, wedding, get some new threads or whatever reason. We take donations of gently used clothes that we fit to men. The Mission for Well Suited Kingston is to promote the economic independence of men in need, by providing suitable attire, career development tools and essential life-skills helping them enter the workforce, stay employed and become community role models
Weller Arms Non-Profit Homes is a small 30 unit apartment building for low-income seniors.  The majority of our tenants come from the city of Kingston's Social Housing Registry. We have a small community volunteer Board of Directors and 2 part time staff.
