We can help to provide community resources and information, individual and family counselling, support groups for those diagnosed and for caregivers, recreational programs, music and art therapy, and so much more.
Kingston Health Sciences Centre is southeastern Ontario’s complex, acute and specialty care, research and teaching hospital.  We care for more than 500,000 patients and their families from across our region.
Volunteers are active at our Hotel Dieu site, Kingston General site, the Cancer Centre of SE Ontario, the Detoxification Centre and the Eating Disorders Clinic.
The Canadian Frailty Network (CFN) is Canada’s sole network devoted to changing behaviours that help slow down, avoid or mitigate the risks of frailty in older adults. It also improves care for older Canadians living with frailty by supporting their families and caregivers.
The Canadian Cancer Society works tirelessly to save and improve lives. Thanks to our donors and volunteers, we’re able to fund groundbreaking cancer research into all types of cancer, offer support services to help people better manage life with cancer, shape healthy public policies to prevent cancer and support those living with the disease, and offer trusted cancer information for all Canadians.

The Alzheimer's Society of KFL&A provides free education, referral, advocacy, and support to families, friends, caregivers, and persons with dementia, Alzheimer's, and/or memory loss.Â
MS Canada is a national voluntary organization, founded in 1948, dedicated to supporting Canadians affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). It provides community support, education, and advocacy, while funding research to find the cause and cure for this chronic nervous system disease.
Cystic Fibrosis Canada is a national charitable not-for-profit corporation established in 1960, and is one of the world’s top three charitable organisations committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF). Cystic Fibrosis is a fatal genetic disease impacting over 4,200 Canadians. People with Cystic Fibrosis must adhere to a strict infection control policies which means they cannot connect to others with the disease indoors. Despite this social isolation, we are working hard to continue to sustain our incredible, unique community!
Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is made up of a dedicated team of staff, volunteers and health care professionals, all working together for the same goal: End brain tumours. Our head office is located in London, Ontario. We are unique in that we work to serve the needs of Canadians affected by both malignant and non-malignant brain tumours.
Hope and support are at the core of everything we do – whether it’s funding new and exciting research into brain tumour treatments, or bringing patients, survivors, and families closer together at our Brain Tumour Walk events and support groups.
By providing support, education, information and research funding, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada has been making a difference in the lives of the over 55,000 Canadians currently living with a brain tumour and thousands more before them.
Since 1985, more than $9.4 million in direct funding to research has been raised.
Girls Inc. Limestone inspires all girls to be strong, smart and bold through the delivery of dynamic, life-changing programs designed specifically to meet the needs of girls and young women. We are a growing non-profit organization serving more than 1,600 girls and young women in Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, Hastings and Prince Edward Counties each year. King's Town School is looking for judges for our school Heritage Fair. Students benefit greatly from hearing feedback on their projects. King's Town School Heritage fair will be taking place Thursday, May 5th from 12:45-3:15pm.
